We are a Melbourne-based flooring crew with a simple mission: put beautiful, hard-wearing hybrid floors into Victorian homes and businesses — and do it the sustainable, honest way.
Our Story
Hybrid Green Flooring Pty Ltd was started by a small crew of Melbourne floor layers who kept seeing the same thing: good people sold the wrong floor for their home, then left to deal with peaking joints, swollen edges and hollow-sounding boards a year or two later. We reckoned there was a better way to work — measure properly, prepare properly, and install the floor that actually suits the way Victorians live.
The name says it all. “Hybrid” points to the product we know inside out — rigid-core hybrid flooring, the waterproof, dimensionally stable plank that has become the go-to floor for Australian homes. “Green” is the standard we hold ourselves to: low-VOC materials for healthier indoor air, underlay and plank options made with recycled content, and offcuts sorted for recycling rather than sent to landfill wherever we can manage it.
Today we supply and install hybrid, laminate and engineered timber-look flooring for homes, apartments and commercial fit-outs across Melbourne and the surrounding suburbs — from single-room refreshes to full-house projects.

Every quote is itemised — materials, preparation, trims and labour — so you know exactly what you are paying for before a single plank is lifted. If your subfloor needs levelling, we tell you up front.
Craftsmanship first
Acclimatisation, correct expansion gaps, level subfloors and tidy transitions. The unglamorous details are the difference between a floor that lasts decades and one that fails in a year.
Respect for your space
Drop sheets, dust control, a tidy site at the end of every day, and clear communication from the first measure through to the final walk-through of your new floor.
How Our Team Works
- Chat and site measure. We visit, talk through how you use each room, check your subfloor and take accurate measurements. It is free and there is no obligation.
- Samples and a written quote. You receive plank samples to view in your own light, plus an itemised quote with no hidden extras.
- Preparation. Levels checked, old flooring removed and the subfloor ground or levelled where needed. Preparation is where good floors are made.
- Installation. Our licensed installers lay your floor using manufacturer-approved methods, so your product warranty stays intact.
- Walk-through and aftercare. We inspect every room with you, hand over simple care instructions, and stay reachable by email whenever you need advice.
